ADVERTISEMENT NOTICE
The Directorate of Tea Tribes and Adivasi Welfare, Assam invites online applications for the following schemes from the eligible applicants belonging to Tea Tribes and Adivasi Community for the financial year 2026-27:
1.Pre-Matric Scholarship.
2.Post Matric Scholarship.
3.Simon Sing Horo Special Post-Matric Scholarship.
4.Financial Assistance for ANM/GNM & other technical courses.
5.Financial Assistance for Higher Studies.
6.Financial Assistance to students who cleared Civil Services prelims conducted by UPSC/APSC.
7.Grants to patients suffering from TB/Cancer and other major diseases.
Minimum Eligibility Criteria
(a) The applicant must be a permanent resident of Assam and must belong to Tea Tribes and Adivasi community.
(b) Undertaking on the annual family income stating that it is not exceeding Rs. 5.00 Lakh per annum to be submitted by the Parent / Guardian as per format
(c) The applicant must have an AADHAAR seeded scheduled Bank Account.
Instructions
(a) The applicants are advised to read carefully the respective guidelines of the schemes for their eligibility and terms & conditions prior to fill their applications.The scheme guidelines are available at our official webpage i.e. https://ttwd.assam.gov.in/ & also at SIRISH-Online Application Portal https://sirishassam.in/.
(b) All applicants shall provide correct details of their own Bank Account in the application.
(c) In no case, applicants applying repeatedly from different Sub-Divisions shall be considered.
(d) Applicants for any scheme must first register on the SIRISH-Online Application Portal (www.sirishassam.in) and subsequently complete the required procedural steps to finalize their application.
(e) During the online application, the AADHAAR authentication is mandatory for all the applicants.
The online applications are going to receive from 26th day of August, 2026 through SIRISH-Online Application Portal upto 5th day of October, 2026.
However, the closing date of receipt of application for the scheme “Grants to patients suffering from TB/Cancer and other major diseases” is not applicable since the scheme runs round the year.
