DETAILED ADVERTISEMENT FOR THE SCHEME “COACHING FOR HIGHER STUDIES” FOR THE YEAR 2024-25

Online applications are invited from eligible candidates belonging to Tea Tribes and Adivasi Community of the state for taking up Coaching for Civil Services/ Staff Selection Commission/ Banking/ Other Govt. Job related Exam (Graduate Level)/ Engineering/ Medical Entrance Exams in the empanelled institutions under the scheme “Coaching for Higher Studies” for the financial year 2024-25.

Minimum Eligibility criteria:

i) The Candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam and must belong to Tea Tribes and Adivasi Community.

ii) For Undergraduate students who are preparing for Medical & Engineering Entrance Exams, he/she should be from science stream with Physics, Chemistry & Biology (for Medical) or Physics, Chemistry & Maths (for Engineering).

iii) For Graduate level job related exam coaching, candidates must secure the requisite minimum percentage of marks in their Graduation as required for appearing in such job related exams.

As per the guidelines of the scheme 90% of the fees in respect of the coaching for the competitive exams will be funded from the Govt. side and the remaining 10% fees is to be paid by the candidates to the coaching centres directly. The 10% fees payable by the candidates against each course and total seats available against each course is as below:

As there are limited seats, the candidates with highest marks in the qualifying examination for the respective course will only be selected.

a) The applicants are advised to read carefully the guideline of the scheme prior to fill their applications. The guideline of the scheme is available at our official webpage i.e. https://ttwd.assam.gov.in & also at SIRISH-Online Application Portal https://sirishassam.in.

b) All applicants applying for the scheme need to first register themselves in the https://sirishassam.in online portal and then follow the necessary steps to complete the application process.

c) All applicants must provide their correct details in the application form.

d) For Graduate level job related exam coaching, applicants must provide their Percentage of marks in Graduation instead of CGPA/Grade in their applications. Applicants having CGPA/Grade in their Graduation must calculate their CGPA equivalent to Percentage of marks in Graduation as per their respective University norms and fill their Percentage of marks.

The candidates selected for undergoing coaching for the mentioned courses shall get a stipend of Rs. 4000/- per month during the duration of the courses.

The online applications are going to receive from 12^th July, 2024 through SIRISH-Online Application Portal https://sirishassam.in upto 15^th August, 2024.
