EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI)

                       Proposals inviting NGOs for implementation of the scheme “Awareness Programme on Child / Human trafficking, family planning, legal awareness, health etc.” for the financial year 2023-24.

• The proposals must be within the range of Rs. 3.00 Lakhs.
• NGOs with valid registration under Societies Act, XXI of 1860 only can be considered.
• The proposals must be submitted specifically as per the criteria :-
•  

1. Track record of having experience in providing Awareness Programmes which includes Child/human trafficking, family planning, reducing child labour, improvement of health, prioritizing girls education, reduction of Maternal Mortality rate, Infant mortality rate, Alcoholism, maintain of hygiene etc. with documentary evidence (audit report, photographic evidence etc.)
2. Whether availability of well trained staff, infrastructure & the required managerial expertise to organize & carry out the activities under the scheme with proper details.
3. Extent of experience in number of Districts (Please indicate the number/district).
4. Years of experience by the NGOs (with documentary evidence).
5.  Any financial assistance received from Govt. (If yes, provide documentary evidence).
6. Total population covered till date (indicate the number of population).
7. Any action plan by the NGO including the proposed no. of camps & Geographical area to be covered under the selected district.

• Preference will be given to Tea Garden based NGOs as they are well aware of the garden environment.

•  
• Those who have submitted Proposal during the financial year 2022-23 is treated invalid as the financial year is over. If interested, they can submit the proposal again as per the criteria mentioned above for the financial year 2023-24.

• A State level Selection Committee will be constituted by Tea Tribes and Adivasi Welfare Department to select the NGOs. The NGOs shall be selected Zone-wise/District-wise.

• The proposals should be submitted in hard copy in the box kept in front of the Office Chamber of this Directorate from 15/07/2023 to 05/08/2023 & no Proposal will be received thereafter. This Directorate will not be responsible for postal loss/delay.
