CORRIGENDUM NOTICE

             In continuation to our earlier notification published vide letter No. DTGW/DEV/7/2021-22/366, dated 7^th June, 2023 regarding selection of 250 candidates belonging to Tea Tribes Community for admission into GNM course under GNM Institutions of Govt. of Assam for the year 2022-23, it is to inform thata complaint has been raised against the two candidates namely Bikash Bhumij, C/o Khagen Bhumij residing at Pabhoi T.E, PS. Biswanath Chariali, Pin-784174 & Wilson Barik, C/o Rajkumar Barik residing at Dhullie T.E, Line No. 03, PO- Pabhoi, PS-Biswanath Chariali, pin-784174 selected under under Sonitpur district that the actual address of the mentioned two candidates do not fall under Sonitpur district but their actual address falls under Biswanath Chariali Sub-Divission. Hence, based on the complaint received a field level verification has been done by Sub-Divisional Welfare Officer, Biswanath Chariali& stated that the above mentioned two candidates is a permanent resident of Biswanath District which has now become a Sub-Divission. In this connection, SDWO Biswanath Chariali has also taken self declaration report of Address proof from the mentioned two candidates.

Accordingly, based on field verification report carried out by Sub-Divisional Welfare Officer, Biswanath Chariali, correction has been made under Sonitpur & Biswanath District for undergoing GNM course under GNM Institutions of Govt for the year 2022-23 which is enclosed here with as Annexure III & IV for your information.
