NOTICE

             In continuation to our earlier notification published vide letter No. DTGW/DEV/7/2021-22/303, dated 20^th March, 2023 it is for information to all concerned that the candidates has been short-listed for documents verification for admission into GNM courses under GNM Institutions of Govt. of Assam for the year 2022-23 based on criteria mentioned below:

 1. The approved district-wise allocation of seats is followed.

2. Preference is given to science stream candidates even if the percentage is lower than the candidates of other streams. (As per our office advertisement No. DTGW/DEV/7/2021-22/285, dated 22-12-2022 and corrigendum No. DTGW/DEV/13/2022-23/79-B, dated 23-12-2022)

3. In each of the districts where the science stream candidates are less than the allotted seats, the remaining seats are filled from Arts and Commerce streams as per merit.
