NOTICE

          Applications are invited by the Directorate of Tea Tribes Welfare, Assam, Rupnagar, Guwahati for admission into 3 (three) years GNM courses under GNM Institutions of Govt. of Assam, as a special drive for un-married students belonging to Tea Tribes Community of Assam.

           Candidates with duly issued caste certificate as belonging to recognized Tea Tribes Community of Assam having passed 10+2 examinations in any stream i.e; Science, Arts, or Commerce from Govt. of Assam recognized Educational Boards; having minimum 45% marks in Higher Secondary final examination; age between 17 to 37 years of age as on 01-01-2022 need to apply with testimonials as provided in the application form to the undersigned as per format within 9^th January, 2022.  However, preference will be given to candidates having passed Higher Secondary final examination in Science stream.

           Shortlisted candidates as per district wise merit fulfilling the minimum eligibility criteria shall be called for documents verification and oral interview by a Screening Committee in Guwahati for final selection.

           Selected candidates can avail financial assistance under the scheme “Financial Assistance for ANM/GNM/Technical Courses”. Total intake for the year 2022-23 is 250 Nos. spread across the GNM Institutions of Govt. of Assam.
